Viper Series Green Laser Pen

Took delivery after 16 days from the order (not too bad). No instructions with the unit, but eventually figured out that the gold end cap unscrews (it's not obvious). Tested the laser and oddly, it fires at a slight angle from true, but otherwise works well and is very bright. Overall, not bad, but not perfect.

Purchased a 15mw green laser because I really needed to be able to see the beam in a dusk setting. I was quite pleased when mine finally arrived. It took 36 days! Nonetheless , the beam absolutely was able to be seen at dusk and in an office during the day. So i was happy that their description was accurate. I have had it for over two months and have had no issues with it. I read others reviews that say they have had issues with theirs. With the lights out this laser is so bright! Really performs.

I ordered my 55mW Viper Laser at April 4 2010.
It arrived in April 21 2010(17 days)
It can burn through plastic bags in less than a second.
Pops a Purple baloon in 2 seconds.a red at 3-4 seconds,and a orange at 5 seconds.
Stings bare skin
It can burn faim in 1 second and hard plastic in 2-5 seconds.
Beam is like a neon light at night.
The beam is partialy visible in the day time.
The dot reaches over 100 feet in daytime.
I would advise to wear saftey googles or not stare at the dot.
Suprisingly, it does not suck the battery that much.
Great for astronomy.A little too powerful for presentations.

I purchased the Viper Series 15mW green laser back in November.
It took about 3.5 weeks to arrive at my door... man that was a hard wait.
Right out of the box, the laser worked wonderfully.
No problems at all.
A co-worker of mine purchased the same one about a week after me.
The laser worked perfectly for a month or so.
Now, however, a few problems have come up:

1.) It could be that the lens it dirty, but there is a 'star' type effect around the dot, making the dot way bigger than it originally was...this also happened to my friend's laser. It never did this for the 1st month or so that I had it.

2.) It could be the brand of batteries I use, but they don't always make connection inside the laser, resulting in the laser cutting out, and me having to shake it to move the batteries back in place inside the laser so they will make connection....it never did this before.

3.) It hasn't happened to mine, but my co-worker's laser has done this: The button gets stuck and sometimes will not release, and I have read a few other reviews from folks who have had the same problem.

Overall, I'd give the Viper 15mW green a 7 out of 10.
The 1st month I had it, I would have given it a 10 out of 10, but the issues that I have had have changed my mind.

Overall, I love it though...minus the few complications.
I would probably buy another laser from Dragonlasers again, maybe a BLUE one.

Overall, Dragonlasers do make a very good product, just read the reviews, most of them are very good, lots of satisfied customers.

this laser arrived today and it is just amazing, the beautiful sleek pen host is just perfect, the beauitful green beem can be seen for miles! also pops ballons toi brought a 55mW green and it peaks at 123mW and averages 110mW i highly suggest you get one! a video will be up soon!!

I purchased a 35mw Viper seris laser in 2008. It has provided me with so much fun and excitement i want to purchase another one.

The laser was far brighter and a lot more prominent than i expected an i am VERY impressed and extremely satisfied. I plan on sharing my experience with friends so they will buy a laser aswell.

The laser is great. I got the 35mw and decided to upgrade. It works great for anything. I use it at music festivals, pointing at stars, or popping baloons. I even used it on a date and my girl loved it. Great buy

Product took over a month to arrive (Denver CO) but was in good working order upon arrival. Housing is very sleek and appealing. Beam strength is right on the mark with other lasers I have owned of this strength. At night, this product is a jaw dropper. You can really turn some heads with this one.

Pleasantly surprised at how bright this laser is. Showing friends and family is a joy because of their amazement. This laser is powerful and yet discreet, appearing like a standard fountain pen and can be placed in your pocket. It has successfully lit matches with ease. Very happy.

Purchased this laser for my son,took about 3 weeks to get. Have to say this laser is awesome,we are on vacation in colorado and my son uses it at night and everyone keeps asking about it. I can not believe how far the beam goes,needless to say I now want one..

My laser is AMAZING, it is the most fun I have ever had with a laser before. If I'm not dazzling people at night how the beam is so easily visible, I am probably burning through trash bags or popping balloons. A great buy, and it got to my house in 5 days.

The packaging was amazing small box filled with bubble wrap inside that more bubble wrap with a box inside of that neatly taped together. Inside the box tight space for the laser to not be jostled around and damaged 100% satisfied for packaging as well. Now for the fun part, I had popped in a few "OLD" batteries and it was BRIGHT I would have to say the quality of their products are 110% satisfied customers because I know I was. I will in fact as soon as I have the money be returning for the Hulk Ultra Series 350mw. I know with all considered of this test laser to prove the sites worth I can trust them all the way, again thank you very much for the help.

Hello, english is not my native language, but this doesn't matter

My 35mW laser came OK. I use rechargeable batteries 800 mAh. Measured output was 40mW, input 540mA.
Laser is great at pointing at stars, the beam isn't visible in light but the dot is very strong. I'm afraid of damaging my eyes. I managed to light match, but it took rather long time. I think that divergence is a bit bigger than 1.5 mrad, but i took border, not 1 sigma at gaussian beam.

I recently purchased a 125mW Viper which arrived to me in the U.S. within in 6 business days! Very fast, indeed! This being my first time purchasing such a device, I spent a lot of time researching my options. After countless hours reading reviews on every message board I could find it was clear to me that if I was going to invest in a laser I was going to do it right and get everything I want out of it on the first purchase. I've seen many lasers from other companies and it is truly amazing how diverse the output can be between them all.

The Viper 125mw is amazing. The beam is very, very tight yet intensely visible in even slightly dim conditions. This laser will instantly smoke almost any darker colored material, pops balloons, cuts tape, lights matches, ect.ect. Everything you've seen or heard it can do, it will. The build quality it top notch. I use energizer 900ma rechargeable cells in mine and it performs perfectly! I couldn't be happier with my choice.

The sales support at Dragon Lasers has been superb! The original unit I received rapidly developed a problem. The online support people on the Dragon Lasers website helped me try and debug the problem and when it was understood to be a defective unit, they were happy to accept my RMA and quickly delivered a new unit to me. This unit now performs above and beyond my expectations.

Hey my 95 mw laser has been great. It didn't have quite the burning capability I thought it
would but it still is really neat (especially at night). Looking back on it I might have spent
that extra money to get the 125 mw but I am overall satisfied.

The laser is EXTREMELY POWERFUL!
All my friends were so amazed!! I bought a 125mW and it could pop balloons in a second! even not only black ones! It lit matches very fast! The beam was even clear in room light at day! At night it was strictly amazing! The beam was visible to my friends 200 meters away from another hill! I held it and it was like a light saber! The dot was at least 20KM away, with binoculars.
Now just try to imagine what it would look like with the HIGH mW version!

I am pleased with your company. Although the first product I received was defective, I understand that technology is not perfect, and if you are selling hundreds of products eventually you will have a defective one. Your responses to me were quick, and you cooperated with me so I could get my replacement. My replacement works great!

The dragon laser that I had purchased is amazing. The viper 95mW laser is the best toy i have ever bought and what a great deal it was as well. Not only can i pop balloons like I have seen in movies but, i can make amazing light shows that amaze all my friends. Dragon lasers was great with shipping as well. I received my laser in such a short amount of time it was incredible. In all, I myself would like to say thank you very much.

I had a very good experience with my 35mW green viper. The customer service response was fairly quick and clear. I would recommend that dragon lasers simply show the time-on limit for safe use. It is good to know.
